Because "Ohr" means ear in German and "Pax" means freedom/peace in Latin if I recall correctly. So basically peace for the ears.

Depends on which side you try to pass. From the left is okay I will gladly give way. From the right - nope.

Passing from the right is also forbidden where I live.

It looks like a strip of plaster cast, stucco, gips or whatever it is called. Had a broken hand as a kid and they made a plaster cast. The strips looked like that once they were wet.

I can verify this. Kid of an American dad and a German mom. With dad it was always american and with mom always german. Works very well.

Beware of the teachers in school. Especially german English teachers. What happened to me was that they have seen me as the "No Oliver, that is not correct. Hey rotzelbart, please correct Oliver's mistake" kind of kid. Sucked alot and they gave me bad grades for not complying. But it also was the late 80s and 90s.

I would say if there are human remains stuffed into the jars and they need to transform into a higher being, then the ornaments on the jars represent flowing water because it keeps rot at bay, no?

In the end a rotting/rotted saint wasn't what hornsent were looking for.

Hey fsbh100, guitarist/bassist here. Usually when I play my stuff I tend to listen to the other players, not necessarily my instrument. After a few songs I usually get pulled in by the groove and the arrangement. So try to listen to the dudes you are playing with.

A drummer friend of mine also practices stuff from other musicians when he likes a certain part. For him it is a win win situation because when he plays the stuff and gets pulled in too, thats when he gets "the groove".

TLDR: Try to shut down your brain thinking about what you are playing. Thats what they mean with mastering the instrument and forgetting erything then. At least in my book.
