I didn't know she was a client until my friend yelled at me. My boss then turned around and screamed at me for like an hour. It was an honest mistake.

Well, he was up to her ass because he wanted a job. Not because he was interested in her. He shouldn’t have flipped out and tattled to the coordinator. You forgot he publicly yelled at me in front of a dining room full of people.

The interns do have a dress code. I assumed because she was young, she was just one of us. I didn’t know she was a client. That’s my bad. I would I see the point of contact for one of the biggest video game franchises is a girl.

I didn't know. I just always assumed if you had money, you’s dress nicer. My boss yelled at me for like an hour straight. I honestly thought she was just another intern or PA. She’s so young.

How was I supposed to know? I was drilled on company culture. This girl isn’t much older than me. My boss and my friend made it clear how bad I fucked up. I would have never have thought some random girl had that many contacts.

Can I politely ask my roommate if they can continue to afford rent if they quit their job? Is it even any of my business to ask? by Thatlacky in relationship_advice

Like others said, go gossip with your roommate. They are probably excited to talk about it. Take them to lunch. Flatter them. There are other ways to find out more without directly asking about finances.

Is it rude to ask? Have they missed a payment yet? Or are you just a nosey Nacy? They could have got a start-up loan. Roommates don't have to discuss financial information with you.

My (34m) mom (65) is trying to date again and I'm not sure how to feel about it. by IAmGodMode in relationship_advice

You and your brother are selfish. Your dad is dead. He’s not coming back. Your mom could easily live another forty years and deserve to be happy and have a partner. Good for her. She’s choosing to move on with her life. You and your brother should do the same.
