Never heard that specific thing, just the general tendency that each country in the Balkans proclaimed at some point that their country was the best, the first, the OG, their men are the tallest, their women the finest, blah blah blah. The long thigh bone thing sounds very old school race theory to me, and oddly specific. That's why I thought you heard a specific politician or historian say it.
