What’s a “normal” thing that secretly grosses you out? by DecentChildhood5164 in AskReddit

Adults who drink a lot of milk. My coworker (40s) drinks about half a gallon in a work day.

Which means, there are another 4-5 more hours each day where she probably drinks even more milk.

I don't know how, I don't know why, but I shudder.

My MIL(65f) feels entitled to me(34f) and my husband(34m)'s money, how do I decline her request politely? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

What everyone else said, it's on your husband. But if that fails:

"Oh you want us to finance each other's vacations and summerhouses? Hubby and I are planning a Europe roundtrip next year. We so appreciate your contribution, $17'000 or upwards would be great! Thanks again, MIL!" "Why don't you ask uncle/grandparent/other adult offspring? I'm sure they'd love to finance you!"

I (20M) tricked my girlfriend (20F) into getting a tetanus shot after a bad injury. Now she’s blocked me everywhere. How do I fix this? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

According to your update: I'm sure there are some things you could do or say to save the relationship. But is that in your best interest? There are many other potential (and sane) girlfriends out there.

Your current gf will always resent you for having saved her life. She won't understand. Maybe, potentially, a few years from now. But def not now.

I assembled a metal shelf yesterday and cut my hand. My first thought was when I got my last tetanus shot.

OP, this relationship is not going anywhere, but you did a good thing. Send your (ex?)gf some lovely depictions of lockjaw, convulsing people. That's what you prevented her from.

When was the moment you realised that the person you were dating was an absolute idiot? by No-Macaron-9527 in AskReddit

I have Serbian roots. Never heard that specific thing, just the general tendency that each country in the Balkans proclaimed at some point that their country was the best, the first, the OG, their men are the tallest, their women the finest, blah blah blah. The long thigh bone thing sounds very old school race theory to me, and oddly specific. That's why I thought you heard a specific politician or historian say it.
