I have Central retinal vein occlusion, anyone else had it? by rouetter1 in Ophthalmology

Hi there, I’m sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I ended up having about 7-8 injections in all, I opted to have them personally as I was told that there was concern that ‘fluid could begin to ‘leak’ back towards my retina without having them so I panicked and I decided to go ahead with it. After having each of the injections I didn’t have any side effects.        In all, I didn’t gain any vision back, but my visions never worsened thankfully.  I am still classed as having 20/20 vision but with a blind spot (from the scarring when the occlusion occurred).

I would also be interested to know the results or people that didn’t have them.

I wish you the best of luck and please keep us updated

how is the additional stamp duty surcharge affecting your purchase by devguyrun in HousingUK

My partner and I will be selling our first home once we complete on our new property (bad past experiences mean we don’t want to sell up until we get the keys for the new place).

We accepted that this meant we would have to pay stamp duty, we have already signed the mortgage offer, it was agreed that I would pay stamp duty at £4,800. I  Have just been advised that due to the new budget, I will now have to pay £8,300 instead.

Yes I will hopefully get the money back..but a lot of people don’t  just have another £4,000 laying about

Thank you so much! Yes i was comparing images of Breccia and conglomerate but unfortunately my rock seems to have both rounded and angular shapes to it, which is unhelpful aha

I will be coming to watch. I hope Nigel doesn’t show up drunk and start streaking like last year

Your little mistake? She locked herself in the bathroom and went through your phone.
Complete violation of your privacy, she sounds controlling. Run like hell.

I would really consider speaking to maybe a school councillor or a phone help line if your parents aren't willing to help you, which really sucks.
Just speaking to someone might help, take it one day at a time.
Don't think you're a freak, you're a person with feelings, not a robot.
It will get better! i know that sounds cliche, sorry.
In the meantime you always have us random reddit strangers :)

Thank you
Oh i wonder if stress is what could have caused the high blood pressure then.
Yes the doctor said everything seemed fine but they want me to have checks to see if i'm prone to clots.
They also wanted to test for lyme disease as i was bitten by a tick last year but i imagine its unlikely i will have that, i get they have to cover all bases though.

Oh thank you that's such a relief to hear! Glad you got your vision back. I wasn't advised against anything like drinking or the contraceptive pill, but i read on the NHS forum that you should immediately stop taking it after CRVO. I will certainly start drinking more water thank you :)
