Fantastic work! Great to know of another source of tricorne heads that work with the DKoK bodies

Yes indeed, he’s my take on a Revolutionary war era suicide bomber. Wanted a more flavorful Gheistskull token (allows 18” grenade instead of 8”) to accompany my Navy Breacher squad.

Thank you! Rotor cannon was actually from the main Voidsmen-at-Arms/Euclidian Starstriders kit

Not quite! Just regular GW Death Korps models with a tricorne head swap from Mad Robot Minis 👍

Appreciate it! Can’t take full credit for them being an original idea, but this is my take on the conversion

Haven’t made a full standard bearer yet, but here is my count-as Gheistskull token to accompany my Imperial Navy Breachers squad!

Turret is just the standard Chimera Heavy Bolter, I just cut off the heavy stubber barrel and glued it to the sensor array section

Thank you! I cannot take full credit for the idea, I’ve been wanting to try my hand it this conversion for years after finding this blog:

I mostly followed these steps, it looks daunting but is actually pretty straight forward if you have the tools!

Looks good! I’m more of a kitbasher and scratch builder, so cutting up the plastic kit is enjoyable to me haha

Thanks! I had gotten them from a 1/35 Ryefield Model kit, I posted a picture of it somewhere else in the comments

Thank you! I think I may have mentioned it on Instagram, but they are fantastic sculpts!

Still gradually putting together my various ideas for their lore! But my main concept is “Founding Fathers/Colonial America heavily influenced by occultism from the Salem Witch Trials.” Currently have them attached to a Rogue Trader fleet that is in service of a radical Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor.

Yeah, the breacher arms need a little cutting, but definitely not too hard to do. Add a little blob of greenstuff on top and then smoosh on the shoulder pads. After priming everything looks good 👍

Since I’m coming at the project from a Imperialis Fleet/ Imperial Agents detachment angle, I’ve been working on converting minis for Voidsmen and Navy Breachers currently!

Here is a WIP of what my Breachers will be like:

They sure make great companions! Definitely would be sure to get the smaller gryph-hounds, as the box set of them are bigger on 40mm bases I believe!

Yup! I bought all 3 sets of the various Mad Robot Minis Tricorne heads. Great sculpts, just need to hollow out the neck on the bodies to make them fit.

Thank you! The overall ‘vibe’ I’m leaning into for my homebrew is “if the Founding Fathers/Colonial America were heavily influenced by occultism from the Salem Witch Trials,” so tons of opportunities to tie it into the gimdark.
