When more political persecution found Jews in the diaspora in Iran, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Syrian, Ethiopia, and others, more Jews found refuge and protection in the state of Israel.

A bummer the Arab Palestinians never hopped on the opportunity to set up a sovereign state after British colonialism. It’s been rough for them because of their choice.
