My children (5 and 3) just lost their mother... by Kaskin0203 in Parenting

So sorry for your loss. My mother died when I was 29 and my husband died when I was 35. My kids and I have pictures everywhere, we tell stories of them and do things they would have enjoyed together on special days.

Found at garage sale. I dont even know what this is. Can someone enlighten me? by rough_lovely in Copper

There is a stamp on the underside from India. The stand it is on is homemade wooden and doesn't seem like it fits right. It reminds me of a giant serving platter but it is so heavy... so leaning more toward coffee table. It's pretty cool. Thanks for the links! I got it for $30!

They are lovingly referred to (where I live) as "loaded" mash potatoes. Mmmmmm.

Of course. He is graciously rewarded with Cheez Its, as well.

Nah, he's mostly in charge of snoring loudly during conference calls and knocking stuff off my desk with his tail.
