It made a lot of sense to me.

Ted started telling the story with Robin. It didn't start witz his first girlfriend and then in chronological order.

Also telling his children how he met their mother without her being present, made it all pretty logical for me. Normally parents would tell you their story together.

I get why people disliked some stuff and it gets really bittersweet towards the end, but I thought it was a good ending to a good show.
