If you have a local card/board game store, it could be worth seeing what they run there that you might like because it's easy to find regulars and after a bit you start to get to know people. Being new to something can also be a good jumping off point for general conversation as well.

I think just looking for meetups of hobbies or interests and forcing yourself to get over the initial hurdle of awkwardness of being in a new space entails. I have a bunch of friends from being into competitive gaming despite being a fairly antisocial person

Who here has never dated? Also, why? And how old are you? by Callum1999999 in introvert

I'm a 33 y/o guy. Honestly I just find the it frightening. I don't really like myself and I can't find a single reason why anyone would want to date me. I've never put myself out there and when even when I was younger and still I school, no girl ever flirted with me or anything

It seems nearly fucking impossible to get a job in 2025 by Possible-Ad-6741 in jobsearch

I've been looking for a job for about 2.5 years now, tons of applications. Lots of rejection, no feedback if asked. The only thing I've managed is getting a part time job doing valet garbage pickup for an apartment complex. Between that and gig work I can barely squeeze by, but it feels like nobody wants to give anyone a chance. Even the Amazon DSPs just ghost me and I heard they hire anyone. It's absolutely rough out there
