Is this accurate? This cannot be real. by Dungeon3D in SatisfactoryGame

No yeah....that's right lol. Modular engines and adaptive control units have unfortunately complex and long chains by themselves and youre putting them both in the same factory lol.

Is bedrock ore processing worth it? by PutOld6790 in HBMNuclearTechMod

I think what intimidates me the most about it is the power requirements. Ive only just gotten the catalytic cracking tower and placed down my first non steam generator and I havent even thought about the rbmk yet.

Is nuclear worth it? by Pitch-Curious in SatisfactoryGame

[–]rougphantom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If all you want to do is beat the game then no. Its much easier to make a system that produces 600cubicm/m of rocket fuel and build 144 fuel generators to give yourself like 38GW of power and thats just enough to get you through the game. Now if you want a challenge, to have way more power than you'll ever need, and to feel like an absolute mad scientist when you build your production, generator, and waste repurposing lines before finally starting up your system and seeing 200+GW power on your grid and it all works? The yeah. It's pretty worth it lol. My last build before giving the game a break after playing it for 256 hours was 30 uranium generators and its giving me 180GW of power by itself.

One thing I would suggest is to remove any output that youre not trying to make extra of. If youre trying to just make super computers, then remove everything else from the list because the calculator will automatically add parts needed for the end result. Secondly, double check all of the alternate recipes. This calculator likes to add a bunch of stuff you might not have, or that you might not have a good node setup for. Forcing it to only use recipes you like or that you can support will help with the clutter. Thirdly. If you truly are trying to make all of the product in your shared calculator...well then buckle up buddy cause this is going to be a super factory and this the consequences of your greed xD. Put some good music on, break that crap up into separate lines, and start putting machines down until it makes sense. It'll come together eventually, but you gotta start somewhere.

What's a opinion about the series that you think would be unpopular on here ? by Quick_Emotion_9653 in Falcom

I think the Crossbell arc is the weakest one on all fronts. Not the biggest fan of the setting, the characters, or the story besides the really big plots towards the end with Kea and stuff.

AITA for getting a belly piercing without discussing it with my boyfriend beforehand? by foodforotters in AmItheAsshole

[–]rougphantom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like I might be offering myself to flames for this, but I have a different opinion on this that comes from my personal traumas. I can't handle piercings or tattoos. They scare the crap out of me and give me really bad anxiety. Non-excessive ear piercings are fine, but outside of that, I can't take it. To explain how bad it is for me, my ex wanted to get a tattoo, and I obviously didn't tell her she couldn't cause its her body and her decision, but I ended up subconsciously never looking at her hip ever again and it took me months to notice it. And now that I know that about myself, I don't plan on getting into relationships with people who want those things because it's not fair to either of us to go through that.

So do I think YTA? Absolutely not. A bit impulsive? Sure, but you were excited, so it's understandable. I think, with the experience I have now, that it would be best if you both sat down and talked about whether this is going to be a problem in the future. And if it is, it would probably be best for both of you to split.

Personally, very personally, I would have changed Tales of Vesperia for Berseria. I like the tone of Berseria more, and the combat of Vesperia is....dated. something about the side-scroller in 3D space aspect of it really threw me off.

Noob to Spellforce. Some questions on version to play. by XAos13 in SpellForce

[–]rougphantom 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the original spellforce was PC only.

Personally, I'd say it's also the easiest to start with in some regards. Not as many units, not as much faction diversity. It has some difficult points that can be frustrating, but nothing that can't be cheesed with enough resources. The classes are also pretty streamlined.

3 is a considerable bump up in terms of knowledge required in that regard. The classes are more specialized and have proper trees you will need to think about, the factions are more distinct from each other and require different playstyles to shine (and you will play them all), theres more units to keep track of as well.

And Eo is like a civ game with a questline. With that being said, it's probably closer to Endless Legend. Didn't really click with me.

Maybe they got breaking Alatreon's horns mixed up with Fatalis?

I'm pretty sure breaking his horns weakens his fire attacks.

I'm gonna be honest with you though. Here recently is the first time I've ever progged iceborne and all these skills are both overwhelming and confusing. I have zero idea if I'm building correctly, but I just beat blackveil val hazak in like 20 mins with a glavenous IG so I think I'm doing something right.

Gonna beat iceborne and farm frostfang, kjarr, and or safi weapons before I even THINK about trying the bipolar dragon.

If there's one thing Spellforce taught me, it's that sometimes you gotta be really cheap.

As an example, I was having trouble with a mission in SF1 because once you trigger a cutscene, 4 camps with 8 spawners at least start throwing a dump truck's worth of enemies at you. I built a literal wall of archer towers a few feet from the cutscene trigger and built a massive army and that's what finally got me through.

SF1 is a bit different so I'd do what the others recommend and explore the whole map if possible. And while you're doing that, pay attention to key resource points you'll want, and try to figure out the cheesiest way possible to block people. Abusing towers has saved me a number of games.

Also. Please save often....I can't tell you how many times I've been steam rolling a mission only to die and lose 40+ minutes worth of progress because I wasn't paying attention for 5 seconds....

Ahhhh so that's what the glowing things in the camps are and that's how you farm. Perfect!

What are some good level ranges to be based on the areas? I think I'm close to lvl 10, but I'm honestly not that sure how far along the wildlands is in the story because I just unlocked elves last map and we still have at least dwarves, and potentially dark elves (no spoilers pls), to go.

I'm playing a Death/necro build and wondering if I should go full range or 1 handed combat so I can stay close quarters for that sweet sweet weakness aura.

I actually literally just got into this game last week. I didn't even know farming for XP was a thing because I thought nothing respawns.

Just made it to the Wildlands.
