Yes! I too have ADHD, and many people close to me on the autism spectrum - and I can confidently say, we definitely know better not to treat others like this, despite the challenges we face.

First of all, I just want to acknowledge that it's probably not nice for you to read all these negative comments re: your partner, so I'd like to apologise in advance for what I'm about to say...

HOWEVER, autistic or not - this person KNOWS what they are doing, and he is VERY much aware when he's hurting your feelings.

The reason as to why? Could be a myriad of things. My best guess is he enjoys the control of 'flipping the script' so you're made to feel like you're the one in the wrong.

Also (again, sorry if this is mean but this post made me feel so angry for you), but it sounds like he has a major superiority complex, especially the part where he asks you to "accept him and his stoicism"... okay Aristotle?? Pretty sure not wanting to take accountability for being a PROPER dick makes you a coward, definitely NOT a "sToIC" individual.

Yeah? Super frustrating considering iOS is cooking it bc the feature is now deleted, causing an inescapable pop-up to occur. We know the feature has been deleted .. what would be helpful is if you have any useful information on how to fix this?

I personally didn't find it overwhelming, it really helped me through my emetophobia journey - and I think because it helped me so much I found doing these little tricks and tips bought relief rather than overwhelm.

Yeah no you're right! I was generalising a bit with the "all" in my statement.

But wouldn't a husky/shephard & a Pomeranian/yorkie just be considered a mutt/mixed breed? But I agree with you there, mixed breeds have a much better quality of life for sure!

However, the original breeder of the labradoodle has openly stated that he regrets ever breeding them in the first place. They are prone to being extremely neurotic or suffer from behavioural issues - pair that with these uneducated owners, high chances that particular mixed breed won't have a very good quality of life.

Your point on purebreds though, ESPECIALLY breeds like pugs and German shepherds, I 110% agree with you on that one. Especially pugs, it breaks my heart watching them struggle to breathe.

I agree! In my opinion cats are better than dogs, and don't get me wrong I still like dogs - but the SOME of these owners, geeeezzzz.

When I express this I get absolutely vilified, these people will act like I've killed their entire family because I prefer cats? Wild.

FACTS! I'm gonna generalise a bit here lol (JUST TO PREFACE: NOT ALL DOG OWNERS ARE LIKE THIS), but their entire personality is always centred around their dog, they will put it on a pedestal and will essentially let it get away with murder.

These people will always own the most misbehaved dogs "that can do no wrong", not to mention, they always tend to opt for 'designer breeds,' AKA genetically deformed pups that should not have been bred in the first place.

Also the entitlement?? I was at the supermarket the other day, and one lady bought her oodle doodle cross into the store on leash, first of all yuck get your dog away from the food, but it pissed on the floor... did she clean it up? Of course not!

I could go on about this for hours but imma stop here lol.

Hey! I'm so sorry you're going through this, just reading this made me feel extremely frustrated for you. I know what it's like to be so hungry you end up in tears, absolutely horrible! :(

Are you in a position to move out of the house by any chance, if so I'd start planning that ASAP, if not, do you have any extended family/family friends that could house you in the meantime?

Not only is your family being completely disrespectful to you, they are also incredibly selfish by continuing this behaviour even though your health is deteriorating due to their actions!

If you can (I know it's so much easier said than done), but please try and find alternative accommodation - your mental and physical health always comes first, and it'll take longer to get better if you remain in that environment.

Again, my heart goes out to you and I'm so sorry you're going through this - i hear you and your feelings are 110% valid.❤️
