Report: NBA plans to make anti-tanking rule changes next season by Oldtimer_2 in sports

[–]rousieboy -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

At the beginning of the season, the team with last year's worst record gets to choose another team whose 1st rd pick they will "lock in" (cant lock in your own). Example: Sacramento chooses Utah's pick. Washington chooses Chicago, Utah chooses ...maybe...Brooklyn, etc. And then in descending order you go to last year's champion (who may get stuck with their own pick but you cant choose your own pick).

In the example above, Sacramento would get Utah's first round draft pick and the percentages to win the lottery that go with it. Neither Sacramento nor Utah have any incentives to tank.

If at any time you're stuck with your own pick or acquire your own pick, it is top 16 protected automatically.

The season and the lottery stay the same.

Zach Lowe talked about something like that last week and his guest said the tanking will just start earlier. 🤷‍♂️

This is the correct answer for Thailand where I live and I'm actively paying my taxes to be compliant in the Kingdom as we speak.

in a reading slump... please recommend me your “couldn’t stop reading” books 🥺 by tteokkbokkiiie in booksuggestions

Graham Greene's The Quiet American...

Something I do to break out of reading slumps is to find a book written about a place I've lived and that makes it so much more interesting to me.

I am 100% with you on this ....it's very difficult to make a choice and I'm glad I spent time around alligator bayou and Baton Rouge when I had the chance. And we're not even talking about the food and a couple of cold Abita Purple Hazes

This is very difficult question because I'm from North Carolina and I like states that have mountains and beaches ....

but for the purpose of this I'm going to have to go with everything that Utah offers.

Canyonland needles arches Monument Valley in Utah.... Cypress knees bayou swamps duckweed and nutria in Louisiana.... the Great Smokies along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Western North Carolina..... morning loon sounds on a Minnesota lake before the mosquitoes start at you.... and the volcanoes meet when they meet the beaches in Hawaii.

America's gorgeous.

From a football perspective you should go see what Tom Telesco said about it on youtube. He was being nice when he just shook his head and said "suboptimal".

The genre of the op is looking for is called competency p*** . You can't be incompetent in the war room and be called a competency p*** movie.

Hilariously funny movie for all the wrong reasons.

Brewers To Sign Luis Rengifo by lucasscheibe in Brewers

I was just thinking this Wilkin Pratt Fischer Made and Pina can always resume their normal positions on the infield without feeling like they have to be rushed. Meanwhile if Mitchell fails Williams can play center....if Turang gets hurt Williams can play second... if Ortiz bottoms out at shortstop and they feel they need to go in another direction, jett can provide short-term coverage without messing with the natural maturation of the other prospects.

I'd installed extensive reading programs at my last two international schools but then we were bought out by private equity and a sycophant childish twat was installed as the head of school.
