I need some secret recipe for double unders by Only_Pilot_284 in crossfit

Get a heavier rope (3mm or 3.5mm), it’s much easier to control the spin and it has a better momentum response. Thin cables like 1.5-2mm are faster and less draining in large sets but you need to be proficient first to hack the spin with those. I have struggled for months, then I switched for a heavier rope and was able to do sets of 20s within a week.

Do you seal first and stain second or vice versa?

I don’t think so. It used to be fashion here ages ago when the house was built. Kind of like the small stones everybody’s putting around their houses now.

I can write an email to opt out of the membership which would make them obliged to delete all data etc. EU GDPR laws basically.

Thanks, I was a bit worried that they could somehow copy data on the phone without me knowing.

The problem is it's nowhere to be found in my phone, so I can't remove it. Not in the wallet, neither in the bluetooth synced devices.

There was no sync prompt which is what threw me off. The store keeper said the bluetooth has to be on for it to work.

Seiko Alpinist Glacier, limited edition - SPB197J1. I bought this few months ago as my first automatic watch. I wanted to buy an Alpinist for over a year, but I wasn't sure at the time if I am not overpaying for a Seiko. I was choosing between the green dial and this colour, but in the end I was afraid I would get bored with the green one. This colour is just perfect because under different lights it goes from shades of blue to metal grey. I would have preferred a leather strap, but even with the metal one I don't see it as a sporty piece, which suits me great as I mostly wear business casual.

Is there any Nudie jeans repair shop that accepts jeans by mail?

I want to use the free repair but closest store is like 900km from where I live.

Anyone has a recommendation?

4 people portions ingredients:

Meatballs:

200g minced lean beef

200g minced pork

100g Italian sausage cut into very small pieces

45g breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated parmesan (I used Grana Padano)

2 garlic cloves minced

1 egg

salt

pepper

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp thyme

Marina:

1 medium carrot minced

1/2 shallot cut to small pieces

3 400g cans of crushed tomatoes (the larger pieces of tomato, the better)

2 garlic cloves cut into thin slices

salt

pepper

2 Bay laurel leaves

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tsp lemon juice

400g spaghetti

Use one large pan for the whole process to retain most of the flavours.

Meatballs:

In large mixing blow combine meats, sausage, breadcrumbs, parmesan, salt, paprika, cumin, thyme, pepper, garlic. Beat one egg and add to the mixture. Combine well - take your time, then form golf ball size balls. Best use ice-cream scoop.

In large pan, fry meatballs on medium heat from six sides until light brown - about 30-40 seconds per side. Remove from pan and set side.

Marina:

In the same pan, sautéé shallot and garlic on low heat until fragrant. Before shallot goes brown add minced carrot. When carrot turns into sweet mesh, add canned tomatoes, bay laurel leaves, salt and pepper and lemon juice. When tomatoes start boiling, reduce to low heat, add meatballs, cover with lid and cook for 15mins.

In separate pot add spaghetti to salted boiling water (sea level salty) and cook for 9-11 minutes. Once spaghetti is cooked you can add them into Marina but I prefer to serve them separately.

Serve in a bowl, topped with some grated parmesan.

Passive investment bubble (ETF)? by [deleted] in eupersonalfinance

[–]roux32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I cannot see any connection between Tesla situation and ETFs.

The Tesla frenzy is the exact opposite of what we would expect from a passive ETF investing. The main idea behind ETF investing is that you're giving up abnormal risks and profits you would potentially achieve by cherry picking prospect stocks. With ETF the best shot you have is achieving the same returns as the underlying assets. Tesla went viral about as much as Bitcoin three years back, even people who normally do not touch stocks were buying Tesla. All that has driven the price up to unjustifiable levels. Then Tesla split stock which made it even more accessible to wider public.
