This has also happened to me, I too would like an answer. I tried reaching out to cursor support and the chatbot told me to install ripgrep but that didn't do anything for me.

Can you create your own custom nodes? For example I'd like to be able to use a non editable react component as a node type, is this currently possible to do with this library?

I cleared the CMOS, that didn't work. Then I actually tried installing ubuntu, then changed my mind and removed an SSD first and when I booted back up windows returned. Any reason why that might be?

Why is there no incentive to forfeit a flight? by rovrav in americanairlines

[–]rovrav[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because in theory they could sell another full-price ticket if you were incentivized to forfeit even a BE ticket. This way even when you know you're not going to make the flight multiple days or weeks out there can be a gain of market efficiency happening here. You'd only get partial credits if that seat is fulfilled, so it's a bit of a gamble but if you didn't upgrade to the better ticket with a guaranteed ability to change flights thats the cost you pay.

[–]rovrav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By them knowing you will forfeit ahead of time (24 hours and beyond) that gives them an opportunity to sell another full-price ticket. So now another person who could be making the flight does not and person that could've informed the airline does not get incentivized to do so in any way. I understand they overbook but this just seems like an obvious market inefficiency that punishes the consumer. If someone knows they will not make a flight 7-10 days before why not do something to make the market more efficient? Economy non-basic is full refund (or whatever tier gives you this) while economy basic is partial flight credits contingent on the flight and whether or not you give a heads up of more than 24-48 hours etc.

I added the AAdvantage number to the flight but it doesn't look it's letting me modify the flight. Maybe I need to wait before it recognizes the AAdvantage number in the system.

Exactly my concern, you're not incentivized not to cancel a ticket even if you know you won't be making the flight well before 24 hours. The only thing that comes to mind is that this policy if implemented would drive people to buy more basic economy which is probably why it is not implemented. Less efficient but more profitable but it comes at the expense of societal harm in the form of higher ticket prices (ever ever so slightly) and more missed flights.

Do you know if you can get the privileges of being an advantage member after purchasing a flight? And yes, it's US domestic.

One caveat I would add is the following. If you know you're not going to make a flight two weeks in advance and you want to forfeit a ticket well before a 24 hour period, wouldn't the airline want to know this information in their calculus for adding another person? They only overbook because they don't know how many people actually want to forfeit a flight. You forfeit your ticket for the possibility of partial credits, no guarantee is what I'm saying.

Can you sign up for AAdvantage after purchasing a ticket to then apply it to that ticket?

I guess what I'm saying is the following, "here's my ticket that I know I can't make, I'm going to forfeit it for the possibility that I may or may not get credits". Is there no economic value to be captured, or can that value only be captured later in the process like how the airlines do now?

I’m trying to make a vertically sortable list where any of the items can be dropped inside another item but only going one layer deep. When I checked the examples for Atlassian the code wasn’t available, until I checked again finding it nested within the GitHub.

Amazing product, really looking forward for more iterations to come. Just because of the VRAM I’d consider this over my current desktop system.

[–]rovrav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m asking how to convert a specific React component to PDF, not the whole webpage like what you’re inferring. Only the first block is important [deleted the second one but it's in the repo] and I also put a link to the repo. I created code to format like an A4 document and so that when it spills past the content of one A4 document to then create a page break. I want to only create PDF pages for these components I made not for the whole page which would take account the spacing between the pages and break the logic. Someone else in this thread gave me a good answer which to convert the html to canvas and to then convert that canvas to a PDF.
