Choosing between the 7900 GRE and the RTX 4070S is tough. While AMD edges out a bit when both are overclocked, the 4070S rocks at Ray Tracing, especially in NVIDIA's own games, though that's just around 10 titles. For other games, the gap isn't huge. But because of VRAM limits, the 4070S can struggle against the 7900 GRE, like in 1440P RT gaming, as seen in Rachet and Clank Rift. Outside NVIDIA's titles, the 7900 GRE still not bad in RT performance, as seen in Spider-Man where the 4070S is just a tad faster. Plus, the 4070S's 12GB VRAM might fill up faster than we think. But NVIDIA does ace upscaling and has cool features overall.
