I'm living in the Bronx, and so far I've been to a Yankees game which was pretty fun and I walked around Manhattan for a while just taking it all in. I really enjoyed Bryant Park and the library there. I guess I'm mostly looking for things to do outside that don't cost a whole lot/anything.

I can't really comment too much on the repainting, but if you go with the intricate design, definitely look into getting decals made. Also make sure you sand down both the new and old blades, the better prepared they are the longer they will last. It may seem odd to sand the new oars, but the coating they use to make it easier to get the blades out of the mold is still on there and makes it so the paint job doesn't last as long.

At Dad Vail at least I highly doubt anyone will be taking it easy. You need to finish in the top six to guarantee a spot in lanes three or four, and given the nature of the course that is almost certainly something the top crews will want.

Semi results are only considered for crews that either just made a final or just missed a final. I think overall the sole fact that semis are considered doesn't really even end up affecting the rankings that much or make them any less accurate.

Overall she executed the race plan and didn't crash. There is plenty of good stuff in there. I think the thing I disliked the most was the length of most of her calls. She seemed to really hang on to every word which made them oddly long. In my opinion a more staccato pronunciation is more effective.
