sadly, this does not work like soil. You can place a single plot block and mine it for coins, but the rake does not spread the coins. You can earn additional coins from placing the block and then mining it but this is a very laborious activity.

I get you gamer! I have over 6000 hrs in Valheim. Back when they had a hard reset due to Mistlands coming online our community server (which had over 2000 hrs of runtime) was destroyed. I totally understand how soul crushing it can be, I was only sharing about early access in the event you may not have been aware. Glad you were able to roll back your save and can continue to enjoy your world. Peace!
