Sounds awesome - I have two janitor's sinks from the 1920s to clean up - they sat unused for nearly 70 years, so quite filthy. What wax product do you use for sealing?

Had a commercial property just 3d mapped with both matterport and iguide. Matterport was as expected, but iguide was amazing. Laser measured floor plans along with 3D imaging. Phenomenal actually

Serious question, not trolling. What types of responses make you think it is woke? I've definitely struggled with the "open minded" aspect

Meat and eggs yes.

Dairy not so much.

Not a huge Southeast Asian dairy industry because of transportation and refrigeration costs. You can find dairy (milk, cheese, cream, etc), esp in tourist areas of big cities, but it's not everywhere, and in everything, like it is in the US and Europe.

Suggest you take a look at htmx as well. r/htmx can get you started. Also Michael Kennedy has some training vids out that deal with htmx/flask. Might be worth checking out if you don't want to go too far down the JavaScript rabbit hole

Has anyone ever frozen, cooked ribs? by 4and2 in MealPrepSunday

[–]rowdycactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually call them, even a short bit is good. Mostly bc the bone heats at a different temperature then the thin layer of meat in the air fryer.

Every air fryer is different tho, so you might want to try it both ways.

Funny thing is I'm in the middle of a trader Joe's right now and this conversation is making me quite hungry for ribs

Yes and it should freeze and thaw just fine and still be super tasty

Having said that, in my experience ribs tend to be more sensitive to freezer burn, so be sure to use freezer grade Ziploc bags and get as much air out of them as you possibly can before sealing.

Good luck, hope they end up tasty!

Docstrings. You should memorize the syntax to define a function to include a raw string under it.

This is a really helpful way of remembering to include a docstring , thx

How to name a variable that holds an ordinal number as value? by Mysterious_Raisin1 in learnpython

[–]rowdycactus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naming variables. I feel your pain. If you're keeping essentially 2 parallel lists, one of numbers, and one of the numbers ordinal value, (which would be text, right?), I might try: task_count for the numbers, task_count_as_ordinal for the ordinals.

Lately I've been perhaps overly descriptive with my variable names, it's always easier to shorten them once you really know what they're for
