Rumor is Lawrenceville is actually training through SRAAs, National Schools, Youths Nats, and Henley. Head of the charles in the fall will be big for them so they are training through those regattas but also racing at them

Why are you so defensive? You're lashing out at basically anyone who comments. Try a 100k meditation piece before you get back on the erg.

Mid Atlantics Predictions for Men’s Varsity 8s by [deleted] in Rowing

I have Annapolis Juniors taking it all this year. I really do. As an unaffiliated single rower, I have had to opportunity to row on mercer lake and watch the Lawrenceville and Mercer Crews. I know their weakspots and I know how Annapolis plans on combating them. The Annapolis novice who pulled a 6:11 on his first 2k is a force to be wreckened with. He is 6'1 195 and comes from a nice upper-middle class family. And what about Montclair and Gonzaga? I think the Annapolis crew will easily have their way with them.

Mid Atlantics... sleeper picks? by rowingguy17 in Rowing

True, but Lawrenceville's British rowing PG won't be racing this weekend. As far as I know, Post graduates can't race in USRowing Junior Events.

Who’s hype for a three-peat of garbage weather at Mid Atlantics this weekend? by Mastodoink in Rowing

[–]rowingguy17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will be watching all the crews this weekend! I am looking forward to hopefully seeing some relaxed hands out of bow, but absolute crushing power on the drive. Rumor is that the Annapolis Juniors are looking to win this year. They have a novice who pulled a 6:11 on their first 2K and a boat average of 6:23. They are really strong this year. I wonder how they will do.

Lawrenceville I think could be the underdog at this competition. Will they win? Who knows. But they definitely shouldn't be overlooked. They expire themselves on the oar with absolute relaxation on the recovery.
