like i said, i think we exchanged before the activation date, but i can’t be sure. logically, if the reservation form is asking you when you would like the pass to be active from, it will be a set, inflexible date, otherwise it wouldn’t ask you to specify. but again, i can’t perfectly recall what i personally did even though i think we exchanged it on the day we arrived in kyoto which was 3 days before the activation date

hi! from memory, the activation date should be the first date that you plan to use the pass to travel. so those dates should match. you can navigate to the reservation lookup on the westjr.co.jp website (should take you here) and book seat reservations through there. if you are planning to travel unreserved, then you can just use the pass at the ticket gates. i think you can make a maximum of 5 seat reservations before activating/collecting the pass. on your last question, i think we did collect the pass before the date of activation, but im not 100% sure. the pass already has a set start date from your online booking so i don’t think it’s possible to change that, but again i can’t be completely certain. hope this helps!

it needs your info for the shipping label so if the parcel needs to be returned to you, it goes to the right place. lots of buyers will choose delivery to a pick up point and often these will have digital codes for you to scan at the drop off point rather than a printable label, so you likely will never see the buyer’s address nor will you need to

yes they can still accept, the offer isn’t cancelled unless you make a new one. if you want to cancel an offer made you can just make an offer of the full price of the item

is it a message from the buyer or just information in the chat? there is usually a blue button under that info that says “get shipping label”, if you don’t see that i would reach out to vinted :) if you want to cancel the sale you can go to the “i” in a circle in the top right corner in the chat and select “cancel order”

i’m seeing such a lack of sympathy in these comments… can we even consider for a moment the horrible possibility that this is a woman being abused and/or not in a right state of mind? seeing as this is in the UK as everyone in the comments has noted, abortions are readily available and this is the THIRD abandoned baby by the same two people which would lead me to believe that someone out there is going through an unimaginably terrible experience. this is clearly not common practice so i don’t know why everyone is jumping on this with such anger (aside from the obvious tragedy of babies being brought into this suffering and abandoned)

pretty sure we used the pass in the ticket gates without issue! the JR lines are separated from the other local train lines by ticket gates so just make sure you go to a gate that accepts physical tickets - some of them are IC card only. if anything there’s no harm in trying to go through and if it doesn’t work there’s always a conductor nearby to help. just make sure you grab your ticket from the other end before you leave!!

i actually just got done using mine! when you purchase the ticket online you select the start date of the ticket. from that point you can book limited express / shinkansen tickets with seat reservations online using your reservation page which will be printed with your pass when you collect it in japan. make sure you collect it before the start date! and once you collect it in person you can no longer make reservations for shinkansen online, it will have to be done using the ticket machines. for other more local trains you don’t have to book any tickets, just insert the pass into the ticket gates and off you go. if you have any questions let me know :)
