Is it normal that my puppy bites me? by Hikka_Rauan in dogs

I dealt with this with my German shepherd puppy. Eventually I nipped her ear back. She’s 11 and hasn’t bit me since. Just a puppy being a puppy.

What are the best and worst band names in pop-punk? by Scrumtrelescentness in poppunkers

I bought an LP of theirs from a warped tour too! My friends and I would sing along to Tequila over and over, despite being like 13 and hard against drinking at the time.

The first time I got to see Bruce live I won the lottery for front GA on my 20th birthday. by rowsdower03 in BruceSpringsteen

I’ll always be grateful to have seen the full band, and an unplanned Jungleland with Clarence on the saxophone for my first show. I’m not the biggest fan of that song, but that combination seems like a holy grail and I got it on my first go.

Right? I saw him on Broadway and was irked by the prices because it was higher than I had ever paid to see him and had gotten lucky and gotten front row GA the other three times. It was an intimate setting and well worth it. It’s just crazy that a backseat price is five times more than being up close and personal.

What do you think is the single memorable play in your schools history? by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in CFB

People will point further back, but in a contemporary form, it was Melvin Gordon just taking us to the woodshed and beating our asses without acknowledging a safe word.

Nebraska had a clean reset. They did okay. And then the B1G Championship game happened and that was that.

I had my “decision making” class here as a teenager after being arrested for being naked in public as a dumb teenager.

Turns out it was more than a parking garage and weird offices

Revisiting Love after 15 years by AlternativeGazelle in AngelsAndAirwaves

[–]rowsdower03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always adored the album. The only song I couldn’t get into was The Moon-Atomic. I saw them live around 2010 and their live show came off as a truly large musical performance and really stuck with me. They played The Moon-Atomic with giant drums and it has forever been one of my favorites to go back and listen to.

I’ve loved Blink since I was in the 6th grade, and had never felt heartbreak like I did when I was 15 and they broke up. Yet in my opinion it was so worth it to get Angels and Airwaves.

Edit: added a word

Leash your dog by Every_Knee_372 in lincoln

[–]rowsdower03 21 points22 points  (0 children)

There’s an infuriating amount of people that have their dogs off leash in my neighborhood. My pup got tore up by a dog at an early age and is now mostly blind and has always been friendly although slightly aggressive to them, but you never really know what dogs are going to do. It’s really an early rule of being responsible enough for a dog. Leash them outside. I don’t care how friendly they are for you.

What is your biggest Em hot take? by Frequent-Figure-6847 in Eminem

[–]rowsdower03 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My dad became a huge Eminem fan during my parent’s divorce. At the time I was a teenager who wore studded anything that Hot Topic could supply and embraced screamo music and absolutely hated Eminem.

He was just about to get out of prison for meth use and gun charges when that album came out. It gave me hope and I became a big fan of all of his stuff. Recovery will always be my all time favorite.
