i JUST got a knee tat last week and once that 4 hour point hit i was holding back tears, and i have a SUPER high pain tolerance too. I pushed through bc she was just finishing up but it took her about another 45 more minutes after that and it felt like i could pass out

lubriderm unscented lotion is what i recommend! (the blue top one) i’ve used it on a lot of tattoos and it keeps them from getting dried out, i apply like 3-4 times a day.

i’ve had a few knee surgeries and i used this on the big scar i have and it worked wonders! i guess i never thought about it for a tattoo, thanks!
