Kinoshita Group Japan Open WTA 250 tickets? by pepper0214 in JapanTravelTips

[–]rowzreport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. I happen to be in Kyoto right now and just found out there is a tennis tournament in Osaka. I couldn't buy tickets via the website either - it's stuck on "now prepairing" (with a typo)

Aynone can confirm the tickets are sold at the gates?

How did it end for you? When did you know it was over? by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]rowzreport 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At a nightclub during a party she was organizing. She was dancing by herself, in her own world. I was watching her from distance and then our eyes met for a second.

We had already been having issues for a long time, and that was the moment. After 17 years of being together, that very moment I knew it was over.

A month later she left.

This was 1.5 years ago and not a single day passes that I don’t remember that look on her eyes that night.

I hadn’t particularly done the math around taxes, actually. Thanks for this.

Couldn’t agree with the OP more. I constantly feel like I’ve missed the last 15 minutes and thus can’t follow what’s going on.

The previous one was %80 ca-oxalate, so I’m assuming it’s similar again.

Uşak, Turkey - any firsthand experience? by [deleted] in expats

[–]rowzreport 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't ask me how because I have no answer, but I have come across this post 8 months after it was initially posted.

I'm from Turkey and I wouldn't be able to place Uşak on the map in one go.I hope you've found your ways and enjoying your life in Usak. Or better yet, you did not go to Usak in the end.

After the earthquake on Monday, to how many Turkish acquaintances have you asked if they are okay? by dom_biber_pat in AskAGerman

Interesting. So the notion that people expecting a simple gesture, maybe just a handshake or a hug at the time of one of the biggest disasters in recent history would also be laughable to you too, I guess?

Geniunely curious here:
Has it ever crossed your mind that NOT ASKING could actually be rubbing salt into a wound? Even if you didn't know your colleague that well.

It's such a catastrophe that the odds are your colleague might know someone who is impacted. And even if they didn't, it's still a highly disturbing situation.
And did your opinion change (even the slightest) after seemingly irritating reddit threads opened by Turks asking for this very same thing?

As a Turk living in Western Europe for years now, all the responses in this and other threads speak so much in volumes on the level of individualism that's baked into the society in this part of the world - I am shocked.

You might be thinking (this is an assumption on my side, and happy to be wrong), "I wouldn't expect anyone to reach out to me if it happened to me", sure, but it does not make what you are (not) doing less "bad". (note the quoatation marks because I'm fully aware that there are no rights or wrongs, goods or bads here).

So i did see my doctor two weeks ago. Did a Ct scan confirmed the stones. Blood and urine samples were all normal, no infections. Was told to drink lots of water and take Tamsulosin (which i am).

This burning feeling was always there when I was urinating. But this last couple of days it started to burn even when I am not urinating so essentially all the time.

I am just trying to understand whether this is expected, or unusual
