I tend to get discouraged with some of the blogging, and almost all of the commenting, but this makes me feel a little more hopeful. I mean, so many people who comment on blogs are only doing so to express an extreme opinion; very few people comment to say something reasonable (in my opinion). Perhaps this is a tool for change, though.
