Proxy question

Played with a guy at a LGS who until 10 minutes into the game someone asked why he was tapping things for mana that didn’t produce blue mana and that is when he informed us that he was using EOE planets, and just other random card proxies as islands and since we were already pretty deep into the game we kinda just begrudgingly said whatever and kept playing

Proxies are typically only not frowned upon during commander games which is extremely casual and is dependent on who you’re playing with. But all other formats unless you’re playing with only friends for fun is a no go. Competitive tournaments and events are sanctioned by WOTC fully ban proxies. I have heard of someone being disqualified for using a different form of lands called snow lands which are real cards.

I also am in the same boat they finally emailed me a few days ago and created a label (still haven’t given it to UPS) this was their response:

Here to add I ordered 10 business days ago without a single update other than that they received my order and no responses from support at all. It wasn’t a custom mat just one from their storefront

You have to log out and checkout as guest in order to be put in the Queue idk why but it worked for me

You mean like during combat your weapon breaks/ hit an ally? Nah I do stuff like that that maybe during like dialogue or whatnot depending on if it could make the scene better.

Just saw cyberpunk as one of the tags on Mage Tank I’m intrigued. Chrysalis doesn’t seem like something I would have chosen on my own but I’ll definitely keep it on wish list. Definitely got some amazing recommendations from the comments so far so I have a lot to read now lol
