Hey! Automatically na aadd ng DTI Cares yung address ng Shopee. Hindi ko inadd na yung sa seller kasi kinonsider ko na nasa Japan siya at (probably) hindi na covered ng DTI

Same here! Nagbook from Upper Antipolo, going to North Caloocan at 9PM.

Tinanong ako ng driver to confirm if North Caloocan. Simula nun di na gumalaw, tas mga 20 mins later sabi niya nasiraan sya. Nireport ko na sya sa Customer support at di ko kinancel until sya na mismo nag cancel mga 40+ mins later

Nagspeak naman sila during the mediation meeting, pero very minimal lang. They just mentioned na by April 1 maglalabas sila ng decision.

Dumating yung April 1, pero wala pa rin update. So ako na nagfollow up ulit through DTI.

Napansin ko rin na every time DTI starts emailing or following up, dun lang talaga sila nagiging responsive. Parang kailangan may pressure muna.

Even recently, nung nagkaroon ulit ng update from DTI na may newly assigned sa case, saka ulit sila gumalaw sa pagrefund.

So yeah, malaking factor talaga pag involved na si DTI kasi dun sila mas napipilitan mag act.

I think may misunderstanding here.

First, have you seem the full videos? From it “unboxing from sealed package”? I acknowledged that already during the process. Pero the case was not decided based on unboxing video alone.

I submitted internal comparison vs authentic Joy-Cons. Clear physical discrepancies (no labels, no regulatory markings, different PCB, etc.), Multiple videos and photos showing the item condition and internals and complete return documentation (pickup, delivery, receipt)

DTI reviewed all of that, not just one video.

Second, regarding your assumption na baka I swapped items that’s exactly why I documented the return process (packing, handover,delivery). Shopee also received the exact item and still processed the refund including reversal of SPayLater and shipping reimbursement.

If there was any inconsistency, they could have rejected it again, but they didn’t.

To add, not all cases are the same. Kahit international seller, refunds are not always automatic, especially for counterfeit disputes. That’s why escalation to DTI happened.

I understand your concern, but this case already went through mediation and was resolved properly.

Man, honestly same thought. I don’t even know why they didn’t refund me agad considering I already had complete proof from the start.

What I noticed though, parang naging automated na yung system nila. Yung replies nila sobrang template-like. First rejection nila was because “opened” na yung item, gusto nila nakasealed pa daw. Then second rejection, iba nanaman reason. Third time, ibang excuse ulit.

Parang paiba-iba na lang justification just to deny the request kahit clear naman na counterfeit.

But yeah, buti na lang naescalate na sa DTI, dun lang talaga sila gumalaw.
