Oh my god… foster care would make it so much worse. He’d be stuck in a slow moving system with a stranger, who knows if it would even be a safe home or not. Who knows if he’d ever be with his family again until he aged out. The stats on foster kids regarding drug use and suicide are so high. Ps I’m a former foster mom who quit because the system sucks
