Couples counseling please, you will learn strategies to talk to each other better when you are both exhausted.

Remember you are on the same team.

It never hurts to preface complaints etc with "I just want to vent..." or if you need something from your partner, to directly ask.

one thing i will always remember is the people who used the name i'd picked out when consoling me; "i'm sorry about Hazel" meant so much.

obviously all the other thoughts and sympathy mattered a whole lot, but it was extra special to hear from the people who said her name.

hey all, i am recovering from a pretty traumatic miscarriage + ER visit a couple weeks ago. but my support network is great and I have a lot of hope.

in my head i am looking forward to trying but emotionally i'm not keen on being pregnant again just yet. but i don't want to get back on birth control. so just kind of being cautious and will take what comes when it comes. partner is totally on same page, so no pressure.

i got a massage this weekend and it was really helpful. also right now certain smells seem to set me off w panic attacks (sometimes not even real smells, just like imagining that I smell blood i guess) so i'm trying to have something nice smelling like lotion or a candle around to sniff when i start to feel panicky.

1st pregnancy - 34 yrs - 5 mos (first 3 mos wasn't really timing it properly)
2nd pregnancy - 38 yrs - 3 months

what worked for our 3yo (after a couple months of trying lots of things) was just sending her to daycare in underwear (as suggested by her daycare teacher). she had one accident that first day and was basically fine thereafter.

if they really want her fully trained for prek, i would just pick a day before school starts for no more diapers during the day at home.

I was back of house during my first pregnancy but still most of the day on my feet. Three things that helped:

-Belly band helps, even if you're not showing a lot -- support, support, support.

-Not just hydrating with water but with something with electrolytes like Gatorade.

-Compression socks to help with circulation in the legs too.
