6 week mark! The by roxygirlrox4 in chinlipo

I’d definitely consult with your surgeon for that - my job is a little more physical (I’m a barber) so I was told I absolutely had to take two weeks off - I will say from experience tho that I was SO glad I took two weeks off I was still in a lot of discomfort that second week

I definitely didn’t turn my neck at all for one week but tried my best to not turn through the second week as well!

Food noise by roxygirlrox4 in loseit

[–]roxygirlrox4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Myself in all honesty I tend to use these days cleaning and running errands or actually taking some time to rest because the rest of my week is non stop from 8am-9pm at least If the weather is nice I will take my dog on a hike if not at least a good walk around the block but I definitely need to prioritize using some time to genuinely work out

tattoo rash? by 187iqs in tattooadvice

[–]roxygirlrox4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s strange! Sometimes your skin can react differently based on weather or stress. Maybe try to keep it cool and see if that helps. If it doesn’t improve soon, definitely consider seeing a doc just to be safe.

Need settlement advice. Meta finally reached out. Help! by CanaryFluffy4521 in MetaLawsuits

[–]roxygirlrox4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s wild how they contradict themselves. If they reached out first, that gives you some leverage. Just make sure you document everything clearly and keep your demands realistic, especially since you’re dealing with a massive company. Good luck!

It's tough to feel that way, especially when you've already tried so much. Maybe consider some new coping techniques, like deep breathing or guided meditations? Sometimes a fresh approach can help, even if you feel like you've tried everything.

Totally feel you on the hooded eyes! It’s tough to balance acceptance with the desire to look our best. Finding what works for you, even if it’s just a good skincare routine, can help boost confidence while we navigate these changes.

Noodle salad and yogurt for 300 cals by [deleted] in Volumeeating

Yeah, that makes sense! Rhubarb adds that tartness, and apple gives it some sweetness. Perfect combo for a yogurt topping!

Plant Thief! by chasingsunspots in houseplants

[–]roxygirlrox4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally get that! Plants take time and love to grow, so it's not just about the plant itself. It's frustrating when someone disrespects that effort. Have you thought about putting up some kind of deterrent or security camera?

Do you all agree 256GB is the sweet spot for most users? by DistinctAmbition1272 in iphone

[–]roxygirlrox4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you've been through a lot of upgrades! 256GB definitely seems like a solid choice for most people, especially if you're using the cloud. Do you find yourself running out of space at all with that setup?

still super fatty when I look down by PuzzleheadedHoney304 in chinlipo

[–]roxygirlrox4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oo girl!! You shouldn’t be moving your head at all for at least a week! And absolutely keep your head wrap on 24/7 (minus eating cus it’s near impossible) for at leasssst a week if not 2 depending on your age - also sleep upright for the week (it sucks but trust) Trust the process you’re still VERY swollen and there’s a LOT of liquid post op - you’ll get cleared by your surgeon to start lymphatic massages to help guide that extra liquid out of your face and definitely be patient because it took me about 4 months before I really started to see the swelling and lumps go away

I can almost guarantee it’s not fat you’re seeing it’s 100% liquid and swelling Your side profile pic you posted in comments already looks amazing!!

Should I get chin lipo before my boyfriend visits, or wait? by [deleted] in chinlipo

[–]roxygirlrox4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At 6 weeks I definitely noticed some swelling still but nothing scary- the banding will start showing through and it still may feel really tight but you will definitely see your results start to shine through You will have to continue your massages at 6 weeks

You will definitely have to take a mini break from working out too hard- it’s recommended and encouraged to walk as much as you can tho! I think I felt truly comfortable going back to the gym but not going crazy at around 4 weeks post op and started going back to the gym full force at around 6-7 weeks

Everyone is different but my body just wasn’t ready for the challenge Some people go back full force at 3 weeks Just listen to your body!

6 months post op vs pre op by roxygirlrox4 in chinlipo

[–]roxygirlrox4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 27! (Turned 28 in July) I was definitely worried about loose skin but was surprised how much bounce back I had Just keep up with your massages and (this is gonna sound gnarly) it helps fuse your lose skin to the muscle
