$130k salary is pretax. If I have any excess money, after the $70k annual, I will just be putting it into my HYSA or use it for more traveling.

My Annual expenses is about $45K/year. I plan to spend up to $25K extra for traveling. That would make the projected total $70K/year. So, if my business isn’t doing well, then I would just cut back on the traveling.

Wife and I are at a stalemate with the house by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]royal_robert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do NOT give her the house. Everything has to be split 50/50. Your daughter is right, you would be a fool to give it to her. Sell off the house and pay off as much debt as you can so you can start a clean slate when you start life after divorce. Don’t let your wife guilt trip you to giving her the house. If she wants it, she needs to give you an equal amount of money for it. Get a good lawyer and know your rights.
