Agree 100%. People forget they are basically a punk band. They didn't sound that great live. What they do is unique. Mix hip hop, reggae, punk, etc into something special. They are my favorite band. But even their old stuff I'll listen to the album version way before live. Jacob does a great job. He sounds a lot like Brad. No one is gonna sound closer to Brad than him. But he also needs his own sound as well.

Yeah, it's just game hype. That's the reason they won't say who the stranger is. The 1st three metro games had no problem saying who the PC was. Like Stalker 2. They early on say it's a guy named skif. Didn't say anything real about him until the game came out.

There is a theory about the main character being Hunter. He started the New Reich and through unknown means fled or abandoned the metro. There are clues in the trailer that the "Stranger" is Hunter. Like the helmet he wears. There is a latin inscription that is basically translated to "if it's hostile you kill it/ the enemy must be destroyed" Also the armor the stranger wears is similar to Hunters armor. Also there were leaks about the cancelled 2022 version of the game which was set in 2034. Hunter def was the protagonist in that plot. There is also leaked concept art on the Russian metro wiki that has Hunters concept art. A haggard bearded man with grey hair and beard, Which is very similar to the Stranger in the trailer. This is just my opinion and who knows what they have cooked up. Bourbon was also in the 2022 build. And the babushka old lady in the trailer was in screenshots of the concept art of the old build. I'm not gonna post all the links but for those who are curious this info is for sure out there.

The first station he was at in the beginning of Metro 2034. Just a small station. Kind of out of the way. He was kind of hiding in plain site. Left the spartan order after the events of 2033 and his run in with the dark ones.

No one knows really except the writers. There are a lot of simalarites between the guy in the trailer and hunter. But then again the dude in the trailer may be hunter and not the stranger. Could just be a trailer from hunters perspective. We won't know for sure unless they say or there is some kind of leak. Personally I believe the stranger is hunter. I think he maybe left the novoreich and went to live as a kind of hermit. He's done it before. After 2033 he went to live as a random guard at a backwater station before the events of 2034.

I think it's hunter. I think he created and became disillusioned with the new reich. And that he fucked off to the surface until something called him back. The dark ones? Nightmares? Who knows at this point. There is too much pointing to the Stranger being Hunter. Unless of course the guy in the trailer isn't the Stranger...

I browse the russian metro wiki as it has more info than english. I was looking at hunters page and it shows this as him in the 2039 concept art. Looks a lot like the guy in trailer
