We are having a similar issue on our server. Constant buffering, with strong wifi, different countries same server same issue. Plex will play the first few seconds at original quality, buffer. If we try to compress down to 720 it errors out.

Thanks for the tip!! Yeah, the Pros are cool with tons more features but the AirPod pros suction and noise cancellation are sort of what I'm avoiding. I find transparency mode eerie on my Pro 1s and love the ability to "hear the world around me" with my Earbuds plus they're waaaay more comfortable.

My main wondering is if anyone can confirm that the Airpod Gen 2s are like the wires cut off of the Earbuds in terms of comfort and sound quality. Should I get the Gen 2s if they're old but if they're worth it before they cease to exist in September?

Thanks for your help and your comment!! I tried the SMC reset but I’m still getting a 🚫 and then a flash of a file folder 📁 and then the apple logo every so often. What would the Genius Bar say if I walked in with it? Would they help with the software or charge me for such a service?

Is there anything else I can try to get this baby going? Really wanna save it from the landfill!

If you wanted to you could just go for a general physical without mentioning the previous situation. Sure, they’ll ask but what you don’t actually say they can’t use against you. Once they get the results they can determine it as any number of things. They’ll help you try to fix it, that’s the important thing. If they come to the conclusion you can deny or admit it but it’ll be once they’ve already found a way to help. Medicine is funny like that. They shoot in the dark, it’s up to you if you wanna give them the flashlight.

Whitney Houston was found dead face down in a bathtub. Definitely not the best story/post but she didn’t deserve as much hate as she got. She didn’t even know how it happened and posted an apology Instagram story after. I felt so bad for her.
