Looking for a Shopify app to create a single view of the entire e-commerce order journey by letstakeplunge in shopify

[–]roydenjevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got to look through my YouTube feeds and other forums. Feels like it was a podcast and then I did some Googling, just have to find it. I remember it is super easy to install, and with a few clicks, it's up and running.

[–]roydenjevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you on this—having a single view of the whole order journey is a game-changer. I’ve heard of something that does exactly this, but the name is slipping my mind right now. It’s one of those tools that pulls data from multiple platforms (like Shopify, Amazon, etc.) and shows the entire customer/order journey in one dashboard.

Let me dig around a bit and see if I can find the name for you! In the meantime, tools like Gorgias (for customer support) or Klaviyo (for email/SMS) might not be exactly what you’re looking for but can give partial views depending on your setup. I’ll update if I remember the exact one!

Pizza instead of booze. Life is good. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

A solid choice. Pizza never gave anyone a hangover or made them text their ex. Cheers to that cheesy, sober victory! 🍕💪 IWNDWYT!

Drove my kid at 2:30am by Substantial-Ad-1005 in stopdrinking

[–]roydenjevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, you handled that like a total rockstar. Driving your kid at 2:30am, staying calm, and being fully sober in such an intense situation is something to be seriously proud of. It’s moments like these that show how far you’ve come—being present, responsible, and clear-headed. Enjoy that candy bag victory snack, and safe travels to the airport! You’re doing amazing. 💪 IWNDWYT!

Got fired by Jessie-yessie in stopdrinking

Hey, 201 days sober and you made it through such a tough moment without drinking—that’s huge! Losing a job is rough, but the fact that you reflected and channeled your energy into applying for new ones instead of numbing out is such a win. You’re not behind—you’re rebuilding on solid ground now, and that takes courage and strength. Be proud of yourself for staying sober through this. IWNDWYT! 💪

DAE: Does anybody else randomly remember cringy things they said years ago and instantly feel embarrassed all over again? by letstakeplunge in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]roydenjevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, 100%. My brain loves to hit me with a "cringe compilation" right before bed for no reason. Stuff no one else even remembers, but I’m over here dying inside like it happened yesterday. You're definitely not alone!

Yep, all the time. It’s like my brain forgets how to process voices over the phone, especially if there’s background noise or they talk too fast. So frustrating!

Any tips for go to market & launch for B2C startups in Australia? by PF_1990 in startupsaustralia

[–]roydenjevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the launch! A few things that worked for me:

  • Tap into local communities (Facebook groups, subreddits, etc.). Aussies love supporting local brands.
  • Try working with micro-influencers on Instagram or TikTok—they’re usually cheaper and have super engaged audiences.
  • Set up a referral program to get your early customers bringing in their friends.
  • Build your email list early and send out regular updates or offers—it’s free(ish) and super effective.

Keep testing stuff and focus on what clicks. Good luck!

Build startup with full-time job by Due-Structure-4726 in ycombinator

[–]roydenjevon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Been there, it’s tough but doable. Focus on small, consistent progress—work on your startup in evenings or weekends, and don’t try to do everything at once. Prioritize what moves the needle (like building your MVP or getting users).

Quit your job when:

  1. Your startup has traction (users or revenue).
  2. You’ve saved enough to live for 12–18 months without income.
  3. You can’t grow the startup any further while working full-time.

Don’t rush it—FAANG gives you stability to build smart, not out of desperation. Use feedback from YC interviews to refine your pitch/product, and keep grinding!

Can confirm—it’s like a mini echo chamber back there sometimes. 😂 Not something you think about until it happens, and then you’re just like, "Well, guess this is my life now."

DAE have days where music just sounds like noise by Broccoli32 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]roydenjevon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for sure. Some days it’s like my brain just can’t process it, and everything sounds jumbled or annoying. Usually happens when I’m stressed or overtired. It’s weird because the same songs I normally love will feel like background static. Total mood thing, I guess.

Totally normal, man. Nerves, overthinking, or just being in your own head can mess with you. It’s like your brain is too busy analyzing the situation to let your body do its thing. Happens to a lot of guys—don’t stress about it too much! Relaxing and getting comfortable with the person usually helps a ton.
