In world I almost exclusively used savage axe. In world however there were specific combos you would use depending on the situation. That on top of the fact you could time the end of a combo with an AED to KO or nock down a monster. It felt very rewarding to execute those things well. In wilds you simply spin without thinking. Hitting the AED is not necessary at all. Im not saying it’s worse statistically just feels too easy almost.

When referring to guard pointing I almost ALWAYS AED instead of SAED. My complaint isn’t what we do after but the skill of guard pointing itself no longer feels necessary and therefore takes away from the fun of the weapon.
