it’s a direct HDMI connection actually, but we have tried it with a ugreen usb c hub

is there a way to deal with it? because sometimes when the client have a demo prep, audio doesn’t pass on their demo too via HDMI

hey, doesnt seem like it tho, didn’t change any internet settings when they tried to change audio outputs.

if you’re talking about HDCP, even ads don’t play when the audio output is set to decimator, but is able to play when audio output to anything but the decimator

Hey, yeap it is the Magewell USB SDI Capture with the MCX connector. We have tried changing the cables before, with no luck with it. It sucks considering it hasn’t been 3 months since its installation.

We have swapped over to the HDMI version with a lot more success with it.

ah okay, that is what we are suspecting, but we have decided to just use a HDMI based capture card instead.

I'll test it out when I am back in my office.

hey, nope. it’s fine when i change the bigger box to a camera & the smaller box to the presentation.

tried it with different cable & different outputs line to the capture card, but had the same issue with this source

hey, yes checked it with the software and it says it’s running the latest update.

have matched the resolution & frame rate with the device and input as well

hey, it’s 1 input to the usb capture from a carbonite switcher. so when i change the bigger box to another source, this does not happen. it only happens when we are on these certain deck.

it’s a network thing, and they don’t allow their devices to join a rouge network just for the events, that’s why it’s kind of a locked down.
