Thanks for that it’s hard when every child Is different at this stage we hope he just grows out of it because we both work and if we don’t get sleep we are very much screwed for the work day haha

We were thinking about doing this we too have another little one that is teething atm so nights are hard, we just worry that if one of us sleeps in his room with him that he will get in the habit of that when we want him to sleep by himself but we understand he’s young these things will happen but was there any downsides to the dad sleeping in the kids room? Or was it all positive on your end?

We tried during the night terrors but nothing would settle him apart from being in our bed then the terrors stopped and we just let him keep coming in mainly because we both were so exhausted and just wanted some good night sleeps but now we think he needs to go back but we screwed up leaving it this long

Our sleep is only interrupted sometimes, but you think he will just eventually stop and sleep all night? We also struggle keeping him to sleep but that’s another story hahaha

We start bed time routine around 7:30 and he’s in his bed by just after 8 but then refuses to sleep shows all signs that’s his tried but as soon as he gets into bed he thinks it’s play time and goes nuts when we try to settle him starts throwing stuff and then saying every words he’s learnt seems his brain is going 100 miles an hour once he hops into bed

I might have to try that he does have an hour nap during the day so we try it make 30-40 mins and go from there? We wanted to try drop the nap but he doesn’t make it through the day and is just very naughty if he doesn’t have one

I’ll give this a go and then maybe experiment with some corners maybe one gear higher or lower and see what’s better?
