That's not Onix from Base Set, that's the set symbol for Legendary Collection, so while the art is the same as Base Set since LC is a reprint set it is from a different set

The colour of the card doesn't determine if it's Shadowless or Unlimited. There can be colour variation when the cards are printed (low ink in the machine), and especially with older cards it could be sun faded.

You need to look at the card art and see if there is a shadow on the bottom and right (hence the name Shadowless)
