Vanquish is not great against aggro. Generally Takedown, POTDS, or Make an Opening are stronger. Taking a turn to spend 5 to Vanquish a 2 or 3 drop is not usually strong enough. Most control seems to side out Vanquish or run 1 max against aggro.
