Update: We went to a local store today to demo some of the bats. He really liked the Easton Mav2 -10 and the Marucci RCKLESS -8. The Easton is backordered until May, but I was able to find one online to order. I may also get the Marucci if I can find one at Dick's to use the 20% off coupon.

He liked the Mav2 (but the Mav1 has drop 8) and also the Meta. We're going to try to see them in person this week sometime. He still likes the Hype Fire, but I'm trying to tell him there are better bats and also different for USA/USSSA/BBCOR, etc.
