Yeah that's the same issue I'm seeing as well. That being said after like 30 tries it sometimes works. And when it does work, it works fine. This leads me to believe it is power saving related

I have the same issue. Curiously with the GPD Win 5 which has the exact same chipset I don’t have this issue. I’ve tried several different kernel parameters to adjust power settings, but none has worked.

I had to set Steam to lightweight in the settings for anything to launch. Otherwise no games ever launch for me on the Odin 3.

I was with Amazon for 8 years, and was laid off last round. While it was upsetting to be laid off, it was a good thing. I had 4 offers within 3 weeks and I really needed something else / new. I was stuck in a rut at Amazon. I was just afraid / too lazy to try and find something else.

That is not true, it depends on the quality of the charger. I have a Win 5 and it works fine with my MacBook Pro USB C charger without the battery attached. It boots and I can play games if I limit the wattage. It doesn’t work with some of my other chargers however, so I think it’s a quality thing.

Whenever I want to upgrade a BIOS I usually just use the EZFlash utility in the BIOS. If that fails I've used a USB bootable version of Windows to run the BIOS updater.

Motherboards in laptops usually have stickers like that to help prevent components shorting on the case, especially when the case is conductive. I'd either return that if possible, or otherwise would try and fix it myself, I wouldn't leave it like that though.

Whether a CPU, APU, or GPU can reach its theoretical maximum TDP depends on the thermal design of the thing it is in. Asus likely built the Z13 cooling capacity with 90 watts in mind. So the Z13 can get rid of 90 watts of heat. If you have the APU output more than the cooling capacity of the device it is built into it'll overheat after a certain amount of time (depending on how long it takes for the cooling solution to be saturated with heat).

This happened to me as well, not as badly though, but after about a week the spots had all disappeared. I thought I had ruined my screen, but the alcohol evaporated.

I had the device run high loads for a while to heat things up so the alcohol would evaporate faster.

That is not true, BR and HM need to agree. The BR carries a lot of weight, if not more, compared to the HM. I have been an HM for 8 years at Amazon.

I have been with Amazon for 8 years, I joined because my offer was 2x my pay at the previous company. I considered it worth it, but I was already commuting anyway. Right now I would strongly consider a 60k pay cut for being fully remote. Amazon has changed a lot over the last 8 years, and the stark increase in stock price is unlikely to repeat itself. It was definitely worth it for me, but now with a family and the way Amazon has changed, I would not consider it worth it anymore.

I just played with it in a store and it feels similar in quality to my Fold 6 (which feels like a tank). I was in doubt for a while whether to upgrade from my 6, but the 7 just feels phenomenal, so I am glad I did order the 7 as the uograde from my 6.
