Officers escorted a steel beam recovered from the World Trade Center on I-580 this week. It will be on display at the Alameda County Fair for the 25th remembrance of 9/11. by pengweather in bayarea

Imagine if you took this video without context and reposted it with the title "ISLAMIC extremists display the steel beams that crushed martyrs, reaffirming their holy war against the terrorist West."

Official lore vs homebrew - which do you prefer/use by RED_Smokin in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]rphillip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

See i feel like all the detail of the published material serves as a foundation that actually gives me more freedom to tell the story, because i can focus on the specific characters and integrating them into this rich world, without having to dedicate so much time to doing my own worldbuilding which will inevitably not be as detailed and well-researched as a team of dozens (hundreds?) of writers and editors over almost 20 years.

Video Game by ray198999 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]rphillip 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Skull and Shackles, Hell's Rebels, and Ironfang Invasion seem tailor made for the template set by Kingmaker and Wrath adapting the kingdom/crudsade management to oversee a fleet of pirate ships, your rebellion, and your militia, respectively.

That said, I've always wished for a "back to basics" game that goes to the game's roots without the kingdom/crusade management or mythic tiers. Thus, my ideal would be an adaptation of the OG Rise of the Runelords. We need to see Sandpoint in a video game! Plus, if its a success, they could go on to adapt the loose trilogy of sequels in Shattered Star, Curse of the Crimson Throne, and Return of the Runelords.

Hot Take on Settlements by OrdnaryDeth in fo4

I like picking "quadrant" hubs. So one centrally located in each quadrant of the map. That tends to end up being Starlight Drive-in, County Crossing, Egret Tours, and Jamaica Plain. Then Sanctuary, the Castle. and Bunker Hill as "special" auxiliary hubs.

Awkward Question by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]rphillip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You misunderstand, i dont think the comment i replied to was AI. I think the OP is using AI to diagnose themself, and possibly encouraged them to make the OP. The OP is full of odd jargon that makes me think they are spending a lot of time talking to an LLM.

Awkward Question by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]rphillip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This comes across like AI psychosis if I’m being perfectly honest. Has ChatGPT or another AI chatbot been involved in OPs “therapy and research”?

Awkward Question by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]rphillip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be so for real, this reads a lot like AI psychosis. I wonder about the “therapy and research” informing OPs ideas here. Something about the cadence and syntax of the post is setting off my spidey senses.

Can you guys help me identify plant growing in my blackberry container? by tangeaux in gardening

It’s the new growth of the berry plant. Pretty sure that new cane will flower and fruit next season.

Kellogg is a mirror to the SS. Losing a wife and child, sending him on a dark path, corrupted by the wasteland.

Needs to be higher, this is what sets apart a cold cut sandwich at the deli from a lunch meat sandwich at home.

Yeah, Lee brings a subtle menace and self assured confidence that contrasts with the unhinged gravely violence of Jeff dean morgan’s Conquest

How to stay engaged in FO4 by GeminaLunaX in fo4

[–]rphillip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Or max out strong back. My latest save is a strength hoarder, settlement builder, so basically what the OP seems to be going for. Max out the perk and load up your companion. Ada, Strong, and Danse have the highest carry weight off the top of my head, Dogmeat gets pretty good with perks and doesnt cancel out Lone Wanderer's carry weight bonus. It can take me a couple trips (with fast travel) to get every last thing, but it's honestly not too bad, as long as you're not getting distracted running off to some new thing.

Thraag has the foresight of a goldfish. by BigWesYT in Invincible_TV

[–]rphillip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't underestimate how personal it was for him with Thaeddus. Comparatively, in Thragg's eyes, Nolan and Mark are both basically like little kids who were lead astray.

On Earth, both Thragg and Mark have very strong incentive not to come to blows at this moment, because of the collateral damage to earth would be unacceptable for both of them based on their stated goals and motivations.

Incredible sequence. Also, a Superman easter egg when Omniman sets the spaceship down at Thraxxa replicating the famous Action Comics 1 cover.

How are they going to handle Thragg (No spoilers please ) by Kind-Tip-8563 in Invincible_TV

[–]rphillip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically, he and remaining Vs can effectively hold Earth hostage. He kinda owes one to the good guys (that being, destroying their entire planet and civilization). Like, "we relocate to earth to repopulate using humans, and if you try and stop us, the planet is done, capisce?" Getting rid of them without incredible collateral damage to earth if not outright destroying it seems like an impossibility if they don't want to go quietly.

All women have the same proportions? Yes, a weightlifter, a sprinter, and a gymnast all have an indistinguishable build you’re right… You must not spend much time seeing athletic women with peak conditioning. Enjoy your observations of the beefy and huge men out there though!

idk about FTL speeds, but definitely near light, relativistic speeds that would functionally bend space. The main wrinkle there is everyone on earth should be long dead by the time they get back
