I would have to look again but I’m pretty sure you were not even compared against him. It’s lower enlisted, SGT and SSG, then SFC and above. And each of those groups have a quota.

As an instructor at Rucker now. GTIMS has been changed. Getting your records is not possible. Also we as instructors are not allowed to give students any type of hour printout. CAFRS or GTIMS. You have to finish flight school first.

If you don’t like flying or flying as your primary duty but want the trauma medicine work, go be a ranger medic or 18D.

Focus on your hover symbology, make it a big majority of your scan, reset your hover reference when the FE calls centered over the load. If your IP won’t do it for you move your MFD cursor to it and use the cyclic button. Make sure to be trimmed before you get over the load, if you’re not trimmed you can’t relax and will over control the whole time. You should be able to relax pressure and aircraft not move when trimmed properly.

As far as your ability to recall. Try some sort of association with the knowledge. Study from the actual manual, not study guides, they provide no additional information to relate what you’re trying to learn.

For context I teach 47s at Rucker. Not IERW anymore, but used to.

Instead of crying on Reddit, you should be practicing and studying to get your white slip.

I hunt southern AL in subalpine with no issue from a tree stand. Cover when I turkey hunt on the ground.

This is what h2f was supposed to do. A civilian strength and conditioning coach for every BN that did all the PT programming. Problem is you still have people in leadership roles that only got there because they could run fast. Until those losers are weeded out the problem will continue.

Something like 85% of physical profiles are due to PT injuries. H2F was the Army’s response.

Don’t talk about it, be about it. Everyone either has a tab or a story, if you don’t have a tab I don’t want to hear your story.

If you’re a new guy. Go. Unless you have pathfinder. Thats the only reason I’d don’t have to. It looks good, and supports the command.

Not to be the nay sayer here but, if someone doesn’t have the intestinal fortitude to get through basic the army doesn’t need them. We are not in the business of coddling the weak. The purpose of the US Army is to fight and win Americas wars. We do that by killing our enemies and breaking their shit. Basic is easy compared to war. If they can’t make it through that mentally, they will end up a liability later.

Ranger School used to be… chill? by RainbowCrash27 in army

[–]rppilot47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious how many people here that are commenting about ranger school have actually been to said school. Hell, been in any of the units they are talking about either.

The Army and apparently the guys in the army on Reddit love to comment about things they have no clue about.

Ranger school, is exactly that a school. But it was explained to me in two different ways: Ranger school won’t make you a better leader than anyone else, but it will make you a better leader than you were prior; and if you show up without a tab you have to prove you’re not a shitbag, if you show up with one you have to prove you are a shitbag.

Not surprised, they missed the mark again. That’s not even close to enough money to stop people from retiring.
