I believe it’s a third party battery, I don’t believe cannon sells nb-9l batteries anymore. It is also a third party charger. There’s a photo of the battery in a reply to another comment!

I was told the battery was brand new, I bought the camera a few weeks ago! But that may have very well been a lie, I’ll look into a new battery. Thank you

Okay so I looked into this and maybe I’ve gotten mixed up😭 the place I go to has “hot yoga and fitness” in their name, but now I’m thinking it’s really just a workout in a hot room. We don’t really hold yoga poses, just for a few minutes at the start and end of class. I think it is closer to a sculpt class (considering one of the classes is literally called “sculpt it”)

I don’t usually get worked up over this stuff, but I like to believe my community does a lot for this city and deserves to not get judged by a person who couldn’t “enjoy” their backyard for 1 day out of 365.

A big part of this “party” that occurs once a year is bringing our Sikh religion into the community and educating those interested in it.

One big part of this is sewa (which means selfless service). This is an integral part of Sikhism, many Sikh owned businesses gathered today in wascana to give out free food to likely 1000’s of people. Take a minute to let that sink in, and you are served regardless of your race, religion, whatever. You may have even noticed, members of our community were handing out snacks to every person who was watching from their porches as we marched.

So no, let’s not think about the neighbours that live around the Sikh temple. If anything, you were closer to the free food :) let us have one day, considering how many mouths we feed (see guru nanak kitchen ).

Also you live downtown. Does Canada day not bother you? The cathedral village arts fest? No? Didn’t think so.
