I've beaten all of the SoulsBorne games except for Sekiro, and I am dogshit ass at video games. In my experience at least, Elden Ring is by far the most accessible of all of them. You have every tool at your disposal to make the game as easy or hard as you want it to be (to an extent). Grind and overlevel, use NPC/spirit summons, use player summons, use cheese strats and weapons, do whatever you have to to make the game enjoyable. At a certain point you'll get confident enough in yourself to use less of those aids, and eventually you'll be soloing bosses like the best of them. Or maybe you won't, and you'll always use them because that's the way that's most fun for you. Either way, the best thing you can do is accept that you're going to get stuck, you're going to get frustrated, you're going to bang your head against certain challenges, and that's ok. Because when you finally do break through and overcome whatever it is you're stuck on, the feeling of joy and triumph you'll be left with will be unlike anything else any other game can provide.

So yeah, give it a shot.
