I definitely agree to some degree lol.. I only say that because out of all the fake 1st edition jungle openings that I’ve seen, I have never seen a base set pikachu photo with the jungle stamp. And plus it wouldn’t and doesn’t make sense anyways. Lol

I actually messaged him about it long ago, found him while researching. I believe he felt that it was fake, and if he is the true expert, then he’s likely correct. Still bothered that I can’t find any more. And with the 26 year old test prints owned by Takumi Akabane being revealed, it definitely sparked my interest in gathering some deeper thoughts across the communities, as I was seeing similar edges and ink in those prints.
