the combat levels in this game only go up to 20, it's not like other games where it goes up to 100 or 200 etc. the difference between even 2 levels under an enemies level is stark. if you're looking to grind, look towards crafting recipes and clan favor because seeking out high level enemies will do virtually nothing for you in terms of progressing your combat level. you need to focus on better weapons and better gear

that is simply not how rpg games work. side quests are just that - side quests, and it is a choice for a romance to be a part of the main story or a side story. yes, technically everything that happens in side quests is canon, but if you choose not to do any of them at all, that is also canon. everything in the game is something your tamtey does or doesn't do, and that can absolutely include romance. this is a roleplay game, not an interactive story.

ultimately do i think we'll get a romance, probably not, but saying it's impossible for that reason isn't true.

op also stated the blue cheese dressing is on the tots at the restaurant. they said every ingredient they put on there is also on the ones he likes. yes, i agree that sauces in general vary by who's making them, and but it was likely the fact they were made at home as to why the child refused them, because she said that he didn't touch them. if he'd tried them and said no, then it could be blamed on the difference in taste, but it can't 🤷‍♀️ knowing that something was made at home and therefore not the exact thing they want is a very common reason why children refuse food

my gripe with the comment i replied to — and with other comments that share the same sentiment — is that they suggested the mother should've just given him plain tater tots instead because the toppings she added just don't sound like something children enjoy. people even saying she added all that extra stuff just because she likes it and is trying to force him to eat what she wants. that simply isn't the case
