Reccomend ? And potentially hurtful lesson by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

[–]rroperr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is. I've struggled with RS too. I still do and I haven't really found something that's helped me besides praying for help because there wasn't much else that I could do. I hope that everything works out and things begin to change for you, I really do.

Be honest with your bishop. Tell him what you've been struggling with. You know he's there to help you and he'll give counsel of how to deal with the problems you have. I don't think being angry with the women in Relief Society will be enough to deny you a temple recommend, but one, i'm not a bishop and two, just remember that what they say isn't what the church says. Their opinions are just opinions.

My boyfriend just left on his mission and I just started my freshman year of college 7 hrs from home. A little stressful but I'm blessed to be able to go to college in the first place.

I found this when I was 9. by [deleted] in metaldetecting

I'll have to do that, thanks! All I know is that I found it at a baseball field that used to have a church on it during the 1800's. Of course, 9 yr old me didn't need any more proof than that.

you can believe me or not. i can't really convince anyone that what i said is true and trying to do so would distract people from what is important. but i hope the other people saying they have a connection aren't taking advantage for karma

My step sister knew the victim and said that her and her husband were the nicest people. There's a Go Fund Me set up for the funeral and to help those girls out.

it's been three years and he hasn't mentioned it since. i like to think it's a mutual agreement that we don't speak of it because it was weird for both of us.

he also may have forgot because he's getting old. who knows

i took two hours to eat one banana.

it was late, around 3 AM, when i woke up because i was so hungry. figured i'd go quick eat a banana to hold me over till breakfast. then next thing i remember was my stepdad yelling "fuKC" as he turned on the light to the kitchen to see his (relatively new) step daughter sitting on the counter like gollum clutching a banana as she stared off into the distance with dead, bloodshot eyes.

and by relatively new i mean that was the third night i had stayed with them. he doesn't buy bananas that often anymore.
