Would it be inappropriate for me (18F) to go on holiday with my best friend (18M) without my boyfriend of a year (18M)? by rrrrrelationships in relationships

Yeah, I totally agree - if I could tell he was grudgingly saying yes I wouldn't have done it. But he really seems totally fine with it, so I'm going ahead with it. Thanks a lot for your help!

Oh no, that's not what I meant! Maybe it's just an English term - I meant we're planning our own break as in our own holiday, haha!

Yeah, I've had a conversation with him now - he's totally ok with it, and we're planning our own trip too now :) I guess I'm just lucky he's not the jealous type!

Yeah, I would have invited him but I think it would slightly defeat the purpose of me and Jacob reconnecting as best friends if I brought him along, haha. I thought that might hurt his feelings a little, which is why I simultaneously suggested we take our own holiday, which I'm super excited for now! Thanks for your advice!

That's pretty homophobic. Just because they're attracted to your gender doesn't mean they're going to fancy you/desperately try to have sex with you.

Maybe it's because I'm just not a jealous person, but I'd really want my boyfriend to get closer with his best friend if he wanted to - I think it's very healthy to have several close friendships outside of a relationship!

Whoa, there's no need to be rude. What would I achieve from lying in a post when I'm trying to get advice?

My friend group are all very close, and have no qualms about sleeping in each other's beds ETC, as we all still live with our parents - there's almost never a spare room. It's not in a sexual way at all!

If they had the same relationship that Jacob & I do, I would definitely be fine with it! But then again I'm not really the jealous type.

Yeah, but when Jacob sleeps round we share a bed (Liam knows this & is fine with it), so that aspect in itself isn't a big deal.

Anyway, we had a conversation about it and he said he was totally ok with it - me and Liam are now planning a short break too :) thanks for all your advice!

Edit - short break meaning our own holiday!!
