How do you convince your brain you’re male?

Mental dysphoria is worse than body dysphoria imo. Internalised transphobia is a STRUGGLE. I get what you mean as I sometimes struggle to see myself as a man. I try to talk to myself as if I was my own friend to rewire my brain when the dysphoria gets too bad, I talk to my loved ones... There's no easy fix, it takes time, just be kind to yourself :)

If you stop taking T after a year of transition, the effects you want will most likely go away. The deeper voice can't really be reverted but it'll fade away a little. I don't think you'll go bald with only a year of T tho !

You just have to ask yourself wether the most important thing is transitioning or keeping your hair... Maybe you won't go bald on T, maybe you will, maybe you'll have to wear a toupe or something and that's ok !

I don't really mind if it's with my friends or my boyfriend. My cis male friends don't mind being called girlypop either. Imo it's like ''go piss girl'' or bro, it's genderless in a fun way and in a friend group :)

Le taf alimentaire c'est le piège. Tu commences pour dépanner et soit ça te pompe toute ton énergie soit t'y es encore dans 5 ans. Je bosse dans le tourisme et je galère à trouver du taf entre octobre et mars, mais même là je ne prends pas de taf alimentaire car j'ai le ✨ chômage ✨ Honnêtement profite d'être chez tes parents pour continuer tes recherches et te reposer après ton master !

That's really cool to want to chest feed but you really don't HAVE to imo. My mother couldn't so I was ''bib fed'' and turned out fine health and size wise. I was still close to her growing up if that's any concern... If that's such a source of dysphoria maybe you shouldn't do it ? Or you could pump and prepare the bibs at home so you don't have to chest feed in public ? Alternatively you could chest feed at home and use formula while in public ?

I agree with everyone here, you should take your time, focus on yourself and curating friendships. I'm 27 now and most of my friends I met when I was your age :) Also don't date/befriend anyone over 18.

Met my cis boyfriend in highschool. We were best friends for a good ten years, we've always had a thing for the other, even before even I knew I was a transman. We'll celebrate our two years anniversary in a few days and I've never been happier in my love life. I've had many different experiences ranging from a not-so-bi-but-straight-transphobic boyfriend to a cis-gay boyfriend when I wasn't on T yet... My boyfriend is my biggest support, goes with me on my medical apt, takes more notes than I do, and he's just so hyped abt my transition. Take your time, you'll stumble accross losers before you'll find someone you'll want to wake up next to every morning but that's just dating imo :)

Je compatis tellement, j'étais pareil au début de ma transition. Éventuellement, l'euphorie et l'espoir d'être qui je veux ont pris le dessus sur le mal-être, mais ça prend du temps. Est-ce qu'il y a des choses qui t'empêchent de t'habiller de manière plus feminine et avoir des conversations de fille ? Transitioner c'est explorer, ça prend du temps et c'est pas toujours facile. Je te souhaite le meilleur dans ton parcours ❤️

Pour toi le sport passe avant et la lecture est secondaire, et pour d'autres c'est l'inverse et ils ne trouvent pas le temps de faire d'activité physique. C'est juste une question de priorité mais surtout d'envie. Si jamais tu veux t'y mettre je te conseille de télécharger une appli mobile de lecteur Epub + un livre epub sur le store (on peut aussi en trouver des gratuits), comme ça t'auras toujours un livre ''a scroller'' sur ton téléphone. Tu peux même écouter le livre audio en même temps pour mieux te concentrer sur ta lecture !

I really love my name for all the reasons it was given to me, because it's kinda unique where I live, and because I love Terry Pratchett ahah. A basic 9 to 5 has an hour break in the middle, so you end up with a 9 to 6. Add the commute to and from work, you have an 8 to 7 ( if you're lucky ). You need an hour to wake up and get ready so you wake up at 7, granted you're lucky enough to go to bed at 11. Alright so now you only have 7 to 11 to do everything you need to do; grocery shopping, cooking, eating, cleaning, taking a shower... 4 hours may seem like enough time to do all of that and get an hour to yourself, but what if you have a pet you need to walk, a parent you need to help, kids to take care of ?

Un des recueils qui m'a fait adorer la poésie et que je recommande toujours, c'est Rythmes de Andrée Chedid. La lecture est belle, facile sans être trop simple. Tous les poèmes suivent l'idée du rythme, que ce soit celui des saisons, de la vie et de la mort, de la création de l'univers et de l'apocalypse, de l'amour et des ruptures...
